About a month ago we discovered there was a duck hanging around the front of where I work. This wasn’t new, this duck had been here every spring for a few years. But then a few days later we found a nest! We all waited anxiously (by we I mean the few females in the office) for the ducklings to hatch.
They finally did about a month later and they were the cutest things we had ever seen! They were gone a few hours after we noticed them, no doubt the mama duck had quickly rushed them to the safety of the nearby river, but it did make for a great afternoon pick-me-up. Baby ducks are way better than caffeine at 3pm!
