I’ve been working on using my camera to the fullest and figuring out how to get the best images I can out of the less expensive kit lens and the lens I bought from a coworker. They aren’t the fanciest ones on the market but it’s not the equipment, it’s what you do with it!
So I decided to take my camera out to the backyard and see what I could do. I stuck on my 55-200mm lens and started playing around the shooting in the Aperture setting. I have to say, I find the results beautiful!
The day outside was overcast and it had just finished raining a few hours before. And it was FREEZING!
Well not technically freezing, but it was pretty darn cold. My fingers went numb pretty quickly.
I know people get so annoyed living somewhere that rains a lot, but I find it quite beautiful! I like living in Vancouver, WA much more than I would in Seattle, WA since it rains a lot less here (at least according to my Seattle friends).
I think having my camera has made me look at things and realize just how beautiful they are, even if its just a rainy and overcast day.
